Being a founding team member of Job Vision, AutoSys visualization tool (later acquired by Computer Associates), and other successful ventures, he is an avid entrepreneur and businessman. John offers 25 years of valuable experience in business operations management. He is a former senior corporate executive of a capital equipment manufacturer with a large top-tier service division. Sumeet is the Director of Technology at Bursys. He is based out of Bursys’ India office and is responsible for leading all software product development projects. Sumeet has more than 20 years of extensive global experience in the management of large software development projects.…Sumeet holds an MS (Computer Science) from Auckland University, New Zealand and has an MBA from Punjab Agricultural University, India. Prior to joining Bursys, he worked at various software companies in the Asia-Pacific region. Sumeet has a track record of successfully building best-in-class software development teams for globally distributed products. He oversees technology projects involving various aspects of innovation, strategy, technology, and execution. He is a member of several industry associations and technical committees of professional institutes in India. In his spare time, Sumeet enjoys reading books, gardening and golfing.
Shiv is the Product Manager & IT Project Manager responsible for leading the implementation efforts of FieldEquip’s product features and functions in alignment with customer needs and requirements.…Shiv holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology and has extensive experience in leading and managing software application projects throughout the complete lifecycle. He has extensive experience with software product development and understands the challenges associated with releasing software as a product. For over 15 years, Shiv has worked closely with customers across North America and Europe and is proficient in business analysis, defining software requirements, and leading development and implementation teams. He has worked with offshore development teams in North America, Europe and India leveraging his skills as a scrum project leader and agile project manager. In his spare time, Shiv loves to spend time with his family and traveling to new destinations.

Prat founded Bursys Group in 2005 to provide software technology development and consulting services. With over 25 years of experience as an enterprise software architect, he has worked on various enterprise projects for Fortune 500 companies and small to medium businesses. In 2016, he founded FieldEquip, a cloud-based field service management software platform as a service designed for mobility and flexible workflows. This platform draws inspiration from his experience in building advanced enterprise field service systems needed across industries. Prat is passionate about new technology trends, particularly generative AI and machine learning, and believes in adopting technology that offers simplicity and enhances operational efficiency.
John joined Bursys Group in July, 2020 and is involved in product strategy, business development and consulting with customers for digitalization of their field operations. Prior to joining Bursys, he held C-level and other senior roles at Bell and Howell, a service and OEM company. As division president and later COO, he oversaw multiple groups including service operations with over 1,200 field technicians and championed many large technology projects including SAP implementation. He continues to provide valuable insight into the technology needs of forward-thinking large field service organizations to advance them to the next generation field service companies.
Sumeet joined Bursys Group in May 2010 as a software engineer. Since then, he has held various senior positions at Bursys India. Currently, he oversees the overall research and development operations in India, with direct involvement in product research and design for FieldEquip. Sumeet holds a master’s degree in computer science from Auckland University in New Zealand and has extensive experience at Bursys in different roles, working on numerous large-scale software development projects.
Shiv joined Bursys Group in 2008 as a design engineer and in short time, he joined our software engineering group and has held many senior roles including Project Manager, Program Manager, Cloud Engineer. Currently, he leads FieldEquip implementation and customer success teams in North America. He is passionate about learning about business requirements and providing solutions. Shiv holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology.
Brian is a senior executive who has more than four decades of working history with companies like Lockheed, IBM, Bell and Howell. He is passionate about technology, people and education. His extensive experience in all aspects including sales, engineering, operations and field service is very valuable for FieldEquip.
